Miss Nina
Nina began dancing at 2 years old in San Jose CA. She continued her training through high school and experienced many classes at conventions with industry professionals and as a dance major at San Jose State.
Upon moving to Brentwood Nina took a teaching job at a small, struggling studio. Quickly after, she had the opportunity to purchase the studio. Since then she has grown East County Performing Arts Center to be the largest studio in the area, founded The Ballet Company of East County, and wrote and published the body positive children’s book Bella Bunny.
Alumni of East County Performing Arts Center have gone on to dance on tour with recording artists and entertainment companies, Disneyland, NFL and NBA Teams, and countless university programs.
Nina is a guest teacher for Hollywood Connection Dance Convention, teaching studio owners how to run a better business and More Than Just Great Dancing, Member Rally and Teacher Training. She has been featured as a successful businesswoman/studio owner in Dance Life Magazine, Dance Magazine and 110 Magazine. She has been a contributing writer for Dance Life Magazine and InSight Magazine.
Nina’s passion for dance, teaching and mentoring children and young adults has laid the foundation for her successful dance businesses. ECPAC was voted Business of the year by the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce in 2019. Nina is a proud member and certified coach of More Than Just Great Dancing.
